If you have been watching the news, you may have now…
On Being Ready in 2020
I try not to write articles based in a particular time period. Those of us in Privatized Banking are able to divorce ourselves from the ups and downs of the news cycle, and the Wall Street rollercoaster. It is just another perk of long-term thinking.
But it is hard not to write about the year 2020. With so many troubling things about, I take solace in having been able to give my clients the knowledge that can help with some of the worries.
I almost took it for granted that one or two years of a bad economic climate would have no perceptible impact on our future. That’s because our financial plan is based on the long view. We store our money in the best possible places while we look for opportunities, even in the worst of years.
Yes, the events happening now can and will impact what tactical choices we make in the near term. I have helped some of my clients use the flexibility of their Privatized Banking systems to weather disruptions in their income and needs for cash. They can do this without mortgaging their future, without giving up on their dreams. Unlike the “our way or the highway” approach the commercial banks offer, we have lots of options because we own our system.
That’s what makes me very proud to be their advisor and friend in Privatized Banking.
You can join the club, too.
